umm - the holes don't match the 'tan'

Its clearly a fake photo... possibly photoshopped.
The tan is completely artificial...

Seriously, the tan lines are flipped and don't even line up. Good concept, for tan salons 5 years ago. Who hasn't banged a girl with a playboy bunny tanned onto her.

I would certainly prefer this tattoo over "standard" or, worse yet, scarification tattoos if I actually wanted a permanent (or semi-permanent) deformation on my skin. It at least looks like it would be bearable.

And yeah, totally shopped, but a potentially good idea. :]

Could someone photoshop BOTH photos so they match, and then retry this blog? It is totally

I'm not so sure it's photoshopped. you need to note that the photos are reversed from each other. The girl's ponytail is even on the opposite side. If you mirror one of the photos, then the design matches almost exactly.

to the last poster.. her ponytail is on the same side, shadow on the same side, yet her upper right shoulder is clearly a different design. Great concept, BUT its being delivered as an actual product result, which is the hallmark of sales by deception. My guess is that the reason they didnt go with a real before and after is that the robe moves without double sided tape, and therefore you are left with an awkward, totally less than beautiful result. No praise from me, this is whats fundamentally wrong with capitalism.

Why does everyone think that just because it's a photo on the internet it's gotta be "shopped"? Sheesh, just take a minute and pay attention before you jump right in to point out the fault... The designs match up, it's just flipped upside down from the "before" and "after" pics. Maybe it's not a robe, maybe it's just a towel with cut outs.

WHY does everyone think that both photos have to match? Is it not a possibility that the robes are all slightly different-patterned? I'm not saying that it's not photoshopped, but using the "they don't match!" excuse is extremely ineffective. Open your minds a bit people! The ad well executes the concept and shows the function of the robe by providing the after-use picture. As long as the idea is put forth to the consumers, I think the ad is pretty effective, regardless of it's exactness.

It is obvious that the robe is made of only thin terry-cloth with thin netting sewn into the cut-out sections. The robe is probably reversible. That is what the pattern looks like to me. The robe was worn on one side before tanning, but the robe was accidentally turned inside-out during tanning--or vice-versa. It is totally something that would be interesting to try!
